A week inside

Last week with all the fires we spent a whole lot of time inside. By the end of the week we started to go crazy but by Friday it was finally clear enough to go outside. But here are the not to exciting highlights.

Caitlin just hanging out in a onesie. It was in the 80's all last week. Welcome to fall in California.
Lots of play-do time. I am still trying to figure out why he thinks he should eat it. I can't imagine that it tastes good. It has to be non-toxic though right?
This is Tommy's favorite snack spot. It is a serious problem but with a week inside I stopped even caring. He hasn't fallen yet (knock on wood) and he knows how to pull out the chairs to climb up.
Before having Tommy I had no idea that kids had to practice for Halloween. I thought that every liked getting dressed up. This is not the case. He pretty much keeps the hat on for about 30 seconds.
Caitlin loves the bouncer. She likes to sit in it and sleep in it, as long as Tommy isn't bugging her. Today I found her sitting in the bouncer with the laundry basket over her. It wasn't me so, there is only one other person who would do it. She was fine but I was a little concerned.

  1. Caitlin has such a nice, round head. Maybe she can inherit my nick-name of "big head". What do you think, Matt? She is adorable! My favorite picture by far is Tommy on the table. I can't wait to see you all at Thanksgiving.

  3. Gretta still loves to eat play doh too. I can't figure it out. She won't try anything new that is a weird color, but for some reason any color play doh ends up in her mouth. Go figure!

  4. Similar story to the laundry basket incident (which I loved). My sister-in-law walked out of the room for a second and when she came back the baby was on the other side of the room. Totally confused, she aske dher older daughter if Paige had crawled? Nope. Rolled? Nope. Scooted? Nope. She thought and then asked, Did you drag her? Yep! What's wrong with that mom? Aren't babies just like dolls anyway?
