The Tree

This giant tree in our yard is dying and has to be removed.  Today was the day. 

They took out a piece of our fence and brought a crane around the back.

These kids were really interested in the whole thing.  We are breakfast sitting next to the sliding glass door.

It didn't take long before it looked like this.  They would hook the pieces to the crane cut it off and just lift it off. 

Kinda freaky but super entertaining.

We couldn't help but be amazed.

And after some major stump grinding this is all that remained.
